A couple weeks ago a sample of Breakthrough was sent to Clint, the co-founder of NEMO Arms. NEMO Arms wants nothing but the best products for their rifle, and Breakthrough is the perfect fit to keep these unicorn killers clean. Shortly after receiving their sample they put Breakthrough to the test.
The following was Clint’s first comments about Breakthrough, “We have a couple SBRs that are abused and neglected. So I thought is start there. First thing that I noticed is that it’s virtually odorless! Let’s see how this does on a couple BCGs that have 3k plus rounds thru them since they were last cleaned…standby.”
After testing and evaluating these were their comments, “The preliminary results are in…we took our dirtiest rifles…a couple SBRs we always run suppressed -one has at least 3k rounds since lat cleaning. Sprayed some Breakthrough on them and wiped, not scrubbed them down. Full teardown of BCG – they look fantastic. For a “before shot” see previous post. Perhaps most impressive is that there is virtually ZERO ODOR with this stuff. We’ll play with it some more but for the short term we are impressed.” I have included the before and after pictures.

Now some testing and evaluating on the bolts. “Gun cleaning made easy…so we received some samples of the breakthrough a couple weeks ago. We clean a lot of guns. Not only does the Breakthrough cut straight through the carbon and oils, but it doesn’t smell at all. It’s works so well in fact that it leaves the pours of the parts bone dry.” They use a really good lubricant after as all the oils are removed by Breakthrough.
